Delicious Quick Chipotle Sauce (with Greek Yogurt)
Whip up this quick and easy chipotle Greek yogurt sauce in just 5 minutes for a smooth, creamy topping that instantly elevates tacos, burrito bowls, nachos, salads, fries, and more! Made with protein-packed Greek yogurt and smoky canned chipotle peppers in adobo, this spicy (but not too spicy) sauce blends into a silky, balanced mix—perfect as a chipotle crema substitute, dressing, or batch-prepped dip for the week.

One thing about me is that I need flavor in my meals. But also, make it easy. I can tell you, this chipotle Greek yogurt sauce delivers in a huge way. With everything tossed right into the blender, it whips up into the silkiest, flavor-bomb of a dressing that you are going to want to put on everything.
I substituted the traditional mayo or cream base, often used in chipotle sauce, for Greek yogurt which I’ve always got stocked in my dietitian fridge. Make sure not to skip the olive oil though! The first time I tested this recipe I left it out and it just wasn’t as smooth as I was hoping. Just 2 teaspoons of that liquid gold made all the difference to give this sauce rich flavor and a luscious pourable consistency.

BESTSELLING The Feel-Good Meal Plan Cookbook
I wanted to make some kind of ground beef grain bowl, but I needed a sauce so I thought I’d try this one!
I meal prepped for 2 so I made a double batch. It is pretty spicy for me (I am an admitted spice wimp), so maybe I’d try 1/2 pepper per recipe next time. I absolutely love it, but I had to have some milk with my meal. I’ve used chipotle in adobo before and it didn’t have this much heat, so I’m not sure if one of my peppers was extra hot or if previous meals have diluted the spice a bit more.
My husband was excited that I made something on his spice level and is a huge fan.
Haha I’m glad your husband was happy and that you were able to make it work with a bit of milk 😉 I also find that chipotles in adobo can be surprisingly spicy, good idea to try with 1/2 next time! Hope you can enjoy for many meals to come and thank you so much for leaving your review! I really appreciate you taking the time.
this is so tasty & comes together quicky. I used chipotle sauce (in a can) and skipped the food processor.
So happy you like it Rachel! What a smart idea to use the chipotle sauce! Thanks so much for sharing this hack.
