5-Minute Lemon Dill Sauce with Greek Yogurt
Ok this 5-minute Lemon Dill sauce is so ridiculously good and can be whisked together in less than 5 minutes! Greek yogurt makes the perfect creamy base (while adding a nice little dose of 6 grams of protein per 1/4 cup serving)! If you’re looking for a quick and flavorful way to elevate fish, chicken, or even veggies or potatoes—this is IT! Perfect to meal prep for the week!

Confession time—I am a definite sauce girl. And not like a teeny little dollop. I want to drizzle every bite in as much flavor as I can. I am seriously drooling thinking about this lemon dill sauce which might just be my new favorite.
Made with just 4 simple ingredients including Greek yogurt, lemon juice and zest, fresh dill and olive oil, you can whip up a batch in under 5 minutes and will look like a total hero. I love that the Greek yogurt adds 6 grams of protein per 1/4 cup, plus calcium and gut-friendly probiotics, while olive oil provides healthy fats and antioxidants. And the lemon and dill bring that bright, fresh flavor.
Being a dietitian it probably comes as no surprise that I’m also a fan of omega-3 rich fish like salmon, but it’s not so popular with my family. Not anymore! This sauce has converted them and is the perfect compliment to this sheetpan salmon with asparagus or my juicy baked Greek chicken meatballs.

How To Make Greek Yogurt Lemon Dill Sauce

Mistakes and Fixes
Too Thin: If your sauce turns out too thin, try adding a bit more Greek yogurt to thicken it up. This will help create a creamier consistency.
Too Thick: If the sauce is too thick, whisk in a little water or extra lemon juice until you reach your desired consistency.
Lacking Flavor: If the sauce tastes bland, add more salt, pepper, or lemon juice to enhance the flavors. A little extra zest can also brighten it up!
Dill Overpowering: If the fresh dill flavor is too strong, balance it out by adding more Greek yogurt.
Separation: If the sauce separates after being stored, simply give it a good whisk before serving to recombine the ingredients.

Hiya how much yoghurt do I need for one portion, thanks
Hi Celeste! It really depends on how much you like to use. I would say around 2tbsp- 1/4 cup depending on what you’re using it for! Hope that helps but let me know if you have any other questions!
