Description
This Pan-Seared Cajun Cod recipe is a staple in our household. Packed full of protein, B Vitamins (almost 30% of your DV of B12), and minerals like phosphorus which helps our bodies make energy, you can whip it up in 10 minutes or less!
Ingredients
- 1 pound cod (or other white fish like halibut or tilapia)
- 2 tablespoons (30 mL) cajun seasoning
- Salt and pepper
- 2 tablespoons (30 mL), avocado oil
- 2 medium cloves garlic, grated or finely minced
Instructions

Pat the fish dry. Sprinkle both sides with salt and pepper then coat with cajun seasoning

In a large cast iron pan, heat the oil over medium-high heat. Add the garlic and cook until fragrant, 2 to 3 minutes. Add the seasoned fish and cook one side until brown, 3 to 4 minutes.

Flip the fish and cover the pan. Cook through until the fish is opaque and flakes easily with a fork, approximately 2 to 3 more minutes. Serve with a salad, on a fish taco bowl, or in a taco and enjoy!
